This is the perfect addition to my olaplex shampoo! It makes my hair softer and shinier rather that just dry from using just the shampoo. I don’t notice a huge difference in the color of my blonde because I feel the shampoo does most of the work, but it all honestly I do think you need the complete system for it to work.

You could call me an expert on purple shampoo, but most purple conditioners I’ve used were barely lavender, taking out of the bottle and never seem to do much difference. I was surprised how thick and dark purple conditioner was! It is VERY toning!

I have blonde highlights in my naturally dark hair (half Asian/half white), and I was looking for something to help freshen the blonde up a bit. This conditioner went above and beyond my expectations. It made my hair feel and look amazing. This was the first time trying this conditioner, and I don’t think my hair has ever felt this nice and healthy. It really did tone my blonde highlights. It’s tough tho, because for $30, it’s expensive. I try to use it sparingly tho, so hopefully it will last me a long time! If you can afford it, it is sooo worth it.

This curly girl was happy to find a nice hydrating purple conditioner!
Worked well to freshen up my blonde! I love the hydrating aspect. Small bottle, but you only need to use a little bit. Used it once or twice a week to keep the brassiness away!

I love this toner. It is a dark deep purple color. After adding it to my hair , my hands look like I spilled ink all over them lol it actually tuned my water a dark purple instead of a gray ish when I rinsed it out. I shampoo-ed my hair with my regular shampoo 1st then I put the toner on, let it sit for a good 10 minutes then rinsed. It felt like it might be tangle-y so I put some white conditioner on the ends afterwards. It def perked up my highlights I like then to be a white blonde almost silver/violet and this did the trick. It’s a little high for me to use weekly but for in between bleaches love it!@

Powerful ! Use sparingly
I have been lightening my own hair and toning it for a long time and love to try out new products from time to time. I have used the Olaplex traveling stylist treatments with good success to help my hair out. When I saw this Conditioner I just knew I HAD to order it. Back in May I decided to re lighten my hair after having done a major cut, my hair as a base was a light brown with about 7-8 months of new growth and cut into a bob. Once lightening my hair with Schwarzkopf Blondme and 20 vol developer I toned it with Wella’s Toner in a Light Beige Blonde. I have been maintaining a bright blonde with Fanola’s No Orange Blue hair mask nicely. Recently I decided to do an autumn reverse ombre on the lower quadrant of my hair and I still maintained the blonde with my hair mask. Upon opening the Olaplex hair mask I was surprised to see how intensely pigmented it is ! It is INTENSE BLUE VIOLET ! The smell is something akin to black currant or raspberry blueberry …super delicious smell
I read the instructions and happily slapped it all over my hair and left it on for a few minutes. It stained my hands super quickly and after rinsing I noticed my hair went very gray light purple on the more porous areas…everything else was cooled nicely. I think it’s helpful to go through a handful of washes during the weeks after using this mask and not use it TOO frequently because it fades out more beautiful and looks even and bright. Overall I would recommend this hair mask if like me, you have bright blonde lightened hair, and use this mask sparingly, say about 2 times a month for a nice result.

This conditioner is super thick and concentrated. The coloring is more a blue/purple toning and works extremely well. If you are already white blonde or porous hair I would advise to not use this or let it sit on very long as you could end up with a purplish blue tint to your hair. Works best on hair that has a yellow cast on it to counteract those unwanted golden tones. I have used this on darker hair as well and works for subtle removal of red/gold tones. This is my favorite Olaplex product and I use it in my salon daily!

Turns fingernails purple
Turns fingers, towels, walls, shower stall purple but it doesn’t seem to be permanent. Except my fingers were stained a day or two after use. I would not have purchased it, however, if I knew it was going to make my fingers purple
. Since my hairdresser recommended it, I think I’ll stick it out and see how my hair likes it.

Another banger from Olaplex!!
You know with olaplex you can’t go wrong. After my long winded extended review of another product of olaplex that just came out also I’m going to try and make this one shorter. Olaplex is amazing. Every item they’ve made has been incredible and as someone who’s been using them since they came out in salons I haven’t found a product I don’t like yet. Although this Olaplex Purple shampoo is definitely a 5 stars I do want to give a short list of pros and cons. Obviously the first pro is just the amazing products and reputation that Olaplex has. It’s amazing. The conditioner itself is probably an exact match as the normal conditioner meaning that it’s thick, makes your hair soft and silky and feels lightweight and great. This condition is no exception. The conditioner truly works. I left it on for 3 minutes like stated on the bottle and it did wonders to my hair. Again I haven’t bleached my hair in years but my hair is still a brassy orangish blonde color mostly half of my hair anyways. It made my entire hair blonde and brown both more fresh and got rid of my brass completely. My husband thought I dyed my hair. I didn’t babe. Just used a conditioner.Now the differences (which are truly not cons but more what comes with blonde brass removing hair products) the bottle is purple but the conditioner itself is blue. Dark blue with a hint or purple. Which actually is nice. It’s really really pigmented and dark. It did stain my hands although it was on my hands the entire 3+ minutes. It got all over my tub and body also but not as long. It did not leave a mark on my tub or body anywhere else but my hands. My scalp also had a blueish tink on my scalp but that’s completely normal with any blue or purple shampoos. So really no cons but something to think about and if you have used any purple or blue shampoo before you know all of these things!!It’s amazing!! Get it! You don’t be upset or regret it.
