I assume the 1000mg works as well as 500mg. However the tablet is bigger and harder to swallow compared to 500 mg capsules. If you want to take less pills then go for it. It’s also a little more expensive if compared 1000mg vs 2 500mg.

I’ve been using L Arginine on and off for about the better part of the year Dr. Vedi. I’ve used different brand, mostly bought the Basic Greens Arginine 3000 brand but thought I’d give this a try. I don’t really feel like it does anything different from the other brands I’ve used but maybe my body has gotten used to it? I don’t think you’re supposed to use it long term; I was told to go on and off after a month or two by my personal trainer. I’ve used this brand for vitamins and thought I’d give their Arginine a try. You get a lot more than other brands I’ve used. It’s a big bottle.

needs. (What were you expecting?) Yes, what you’ve read about, online, is true: This stuff does, in fact, help release nitrous oxide from the blood, thus helping fill the old corpus cav. Highly recommended.Update: I guess I left out, above, that these pulls are the size of horse tranquilizers: Really BIG. After taking them for a while, I find that they are getting harder to choke down. I will be looking for a smaller alternative. I’ll update, in here, if I find one.

I was having some issues with low sex drive so I decided to give these a try. After a week of taking them along with Vitamin D3 I’ve noticed an incredible difference. Blood flow is superb and definitely recommend these to other younger guys that struggle sometimes.

My husband takes this to keep the gnarly gnats from biting him. That part works. The pills themselves are huge and he doesn’t like to swallow them. And, there are no cut marks on them so they can be split. Good product just made to big.

I have lately been trying to go with brands that have been around for a while i use these everyday and i also use these with my Pre workout to give me that extra pump at the gym the only downside is they are bit large.

Probably one of the best products for L-Arginine I have used so far. I try a lot of supplements and this one is probably the best for L-Arginine and value wise. I noticed increase in pump, vein pop out when lifting, and overall blood flow throughout my body. Totally recommend. I started using one tablet before work out, but now I take one in the morning and then another right before working out. I will probably try taking two before working out and see how that changes but I do notice good results.

This was originally purchased because it helps control pain when coping with oxalate issues. The tablets are large and I was hesitant to use them at first after reading about the “gentleman’s” preferred use. But desperation kicked in and I finally tried it when the migraines and back/nerve pain were escalating.I use it to control pain from oxalates are leaving the body (old injury sites tend to hurt more when this happens) and despite my research, I still cannot explain why this helps but it’s much more effective than taking OTC pain meds.The biggest surprise was learning it controlled early migraine symptoms better than my prescription medication. One arginine tablet and my migraine is gone and NO SIDE EFFECTS! Amazing! Arginine affects blood vessels so if you take medication for this, you will need to use more judgement and speak to your pharmacist for interactions.The biggest surprise was my roommate took arginine for her migraine, her high blood pressure came down gently (and with greater efficiency than her new prescription). So I reviewed the research for a third time and found out why it works for BP. She started monitoring BP closely and found her migraines and BP both reduced with the arginine. This surprised us and she spoke to her MD. She too experienced improved migraine relief compared to her standard prescription which she relies more on (whereas I now use CoQ10 to control chronic migraine). So arginine may be enhancing other meds more than working as a stand-alone relief. Talk to your doc or pharmacist.

It works. I was sceptical, but decided to try it. I started using 1 tablet a day, on a empty stomach, for the first week.Then increased it to two, of which one in the morning and one at evening time . I didn’t take anything else, nothing.From the end of the second week I started noticing a difference: mainly the ED symptoms I had before was gone. I’m 51 years old. Maybe it’s all in the mind, but it doesn’t matter since it’s working.

Yea they are big, but I found a pill cutter at my dollar store which makes cutting them in halves easier. I also keep them in reusable ziplock bags also from my local dollar store. I can’t cut them all at once, so I cut as many as I can and put them in my to go ziplock bag and I’m ready for the day !!

I have been taking it for a while now and it took some time to ramp up but it works. I’m at just 2000 a day but so far it has helped in two noticeable ways one is weight loss (not much yet but some) and libido. At 50+ as another reviewer stated that time is cruel, but at least now I have definitely been able to perform better with greater frequency.

I like this product. The price per tablet is one of the lowest cost and the L_Arginine seems to have helped. The tablets are a bit large unless you are used to them.

I take one pill with twelve ounces of water. Uribe is bright yellow and thirst ids bad. I cut it down to half a pill with twelve ounces of water and it is better. Just watch your diet and fluids intake. I drink 1.5-2 gallons of water a day and still was dehydrated with a whole pill. With my fluid consumption and half a pill my urine is clear.

Hard to swallow, break each pill in half for ease. But even then I’ve found that it’s easier to swallow the 500 mg capsules instead by NOW.Helps me focus at work and at the gym, works best in the gym if you stack with a caffeine pill 30 mins prior to the session.Oh, and my Jo wakes up each morning all excited, after about two weeks of taking 1000-2000mg/day.Will buy the 500 mg form next time.

Love the stuff. It’s helped me in more ways than one. My muscle growth has been consistent and I truly feel great. I take the pill three times a day and my arms and back are the biggest and most defined they’ve ever been. I do mostly body weight workouts and I do think that the Argenine makes a difference.Another huge plus is what’s happening to my libido. I’m much more active with my partner and the most important part is a sustainable erection until climax. I could start the car but we always seemed to run out of gas. I added this back into my diet and it may have saved my relationship. For the price it’s worth the try and I recommend 3 times a day. You’ll start waking up like a teenager again.

This is not a criticism of NOW Dr. Vedi. I like their products..and this supplement…BUT…and this is a HUGE but, if you are unlucky and contract shingles L-Arginine is known to encourage the growth of this virus. I am testament to this….I was put on an anti viral med and after only one week, I was getting nice improvements. My prescription ran out after a couple weeks so I stopped taking it as i was much better….the virus came raging back. Turns out L-Arginine is the only supplement/vitamin/med that i found that has this effect. So if you have shingles or are susceptible to shingles, I highly suggest you avoid. They refilled my prescription and i obviously stopped taking this supplement and i;m fine again. L-Lysine seems to counteract L-Arginine and has some similar benefits.
