It’s Helping- Smoothing Rough Texture & Pores
I had oily skin as a teenager and young adult and now that I have much more mature skin I still have the aftermath of large pores and some shallow acne scars from those earlier years. They kind of create a rough texture that I would like to smooth out. This product contains retinol which can be beneficial to minimizing pores. Since I was new to this product I started out gradually to let my skin adjust–using it just several times a week at first with a day or two between uses. Then every other day for awhile. I apply it at night after removing all makeup and washing my face. I make sure my face is thoroughly dry before applying a thin layer of retinol product. The product comes in a solid plastic pump container. I find two pumps is sufficient to cover my face. Sometimes retinol can cause some flushing for first time users if this happens back off for awhile. I haven’t experienced any issues, but then I built up my tolerance gradually. It absorbs pretty quickly. I will let it set on my skin for awhile and sometimes apply a dye-free, fragrance-free moisturizer to drier areas. Again that is just me you may or may not opt or need to do that. I rinse or wash off the retinol product in the morning and apply sunscreen to protect my skin. I have pretty much gone through my first container and re-ordered a 2nd container of product. I find that it has helped to minimize my pores some and my skin looks somewhat smoother. My tinted sunscreen and makeup go on smoother and don’t settle in my pores as much. I hope with continued use my skin will just get better. It takes patience sometimes and just remember depending on skin type results can vary. I hope some of this information is beneficial.

Good Retinol Starter!
If your looking for a retinol serum without too much acidity to the skin this product provides a moderate burn and decent moisturization. Be sure to apply sunscreen to protect your skin when applying this product as it does make it sensitive. The scent itself is a hygienic smell my only criticism is the length that the moisture lasts so you’ll need a moisturizer ready when applying this.

Really nice retinol
I was using a retinol from The Ordinary before, which was very oily. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The texture is very nice so it’s enjoyable to put on. I do get some sensitivity if I use it after Garnier Micellar water, but otherwise nothing. It’s a really nice lightweight formula and it’s endorsed by Doctorly, so I’m going to stick with this one.

This was nice. Just make sure you pay attention the percentage of retinol. It’s pretty low so won’t be as effective as products with a much higher amount. It does go on nicely and the pump bottle design is great.

Really easy to use
This is a good product, not the best but really good if your on a budget. It has helped with the look of fine lines as I get older and am having to start worrying about such things. Can feel a little greasy but it’s not very heavy and it applies well.

This does not solve pitting. It does help decrease redness, swelling, and discoloration. Seems to prevent acne from an increase in the development stages.

It’s really good product it brings all your blackheads and whiteheads to the surface tho so if you don’t want that, don’t purchase !

Pretty Good
I feel like it took more time to notice results with this than say CosRx products. But it definitely helped with my skin, always feels soft after applying and never irritating even though it contains retinol. Would recommend for sensitive skin!

Good product but did not do what I was hoping for
It’s a good product, but not for what J was hoping for. I originally bought it because I heard that Vitamin C as well has retinol helps get rid of acne scars. My main problem with my acne scars is the color more than the texture. I had been using the ROC’s vitamin C serum before this and it worked WONDERS but I ran out of the sample size so I looked into this product because if you know about ROC, it’s that their products are EXPENSIVE HOLLY COW. Amazing for the skin but I am NOT paying $49.99 for a 1 oz bottle. So I turned to this product instead. It does not help with the pigmentation of the scars but it helps with skin texture by promoting the growth of new skin cells. I would recommend it if you wanted to smooth out your skin texture, but not for something like hyper pigmentation. I also noticed that I got some slight peeling at the apples of my checks when wearing this product but I think it might have been from putting too much product on. I’ve also known that if you put too much of the serum on is that it will start to slightly burn your face and make it slightly irritated. It’s is also advised tk wear sunscreen with this product as well (I think it’s because it can make the skin more sensitive). But all in all, it’s a good product, it’s lightweight, smooth, not sticky, and it helps moisturize. I can also tell that it will last a long time because a little goes a long way, I would say that I use a little under a pump each time I use it.

Lasts a while. I think it works.
This bottle lasted for a lot longer than I expected. After using this for 4 months I feel like the skin on my cheeks looks more supple, softer and better tone. I thought it would do more for fine lines but not much in that aspect. I only used it during the winter and I may do it again next winter. Very light smell. It did burn the first couple of times I used it. I feel satisfied using this.

Retinol IS for men too!
I have struggled with dry skin for many years due to a prescription facial wash I have to use for a skn condition I have. I have also struggle with sorta large pores which get easily clogged and is difficult to overcome. Even as much as those facial strips do to unclog my pores, it leaves behind as much as it gets out.I finally asked my dermatologist for a skin regime to battle the skin issues I’ve been having, thinking there isn’t much out there for men. She very quickly gave me the name of a cleanser, this retinol and of course recommended a facial sunscreenI have been using the cleanser and this retinol for maybe 3 weeks and I can honestly say I saw a big difference in just a weeks time. My pores are half the size, not nearly as clogged and my skin is so much softer than it ever had been. It literally wipes out the dryness and I could not be happier. I look forward to continued improvement and I recommend this product!

I bought this to brighten up my skin and reduce pores, and my gf has been using it for acne scarring.It’s worked really well on my face so far, my pores look much smaller, my face is brighter and I’ve had a lot of good feedback from the few people that have been able to see my face in person this year.On my girlfriends face, it has very much helped her face look less dull and pore wise it has worked to a degree but is not able to really reduce the acne scars much at all.We bought more as a result, but found this new batch seems to peel off your face for hours afterwards, and it looks like skin – it’s very odd and quite annoying.

OMG my face!
Im a person whom likes to take care of my face and health. I didn’t think I would need this, but Im glad I got it. I use it once at night after a face wash. The next morning, my face feels so soft and smooth. Been using this with other CeraV lotion and retinal creams, for about 2 months. My face feels tighter and smooth. Some say my skin looks great so that’s always a good hint that it’s working. Love it will continue to use it.

Works on stubborn dark spots
I have ( now had) a pretty good size dark spot of my left cheek from sun exposure, it had gotten darker over the years and after trying atleast 5 different dark spot products this cerave resurfacing serum has been the only one to have any significant amount of change on this spot. I’ve been using it for about a week and a half now and it’s almost completely gone. I am very happy with how this serum has worked for me and will continue to purchase it.
