Very moisturizing and useful
I’m a big fan of CeraVe products, and this one definitely didn’t let me down. I use it after showering, as my skin tends to dry out, and it works beautifully. I also have a friend who gets very dry hands and knuckles, to the point to where it’s painful, and she tried this product and it really helped her. Would buy again!

Seals in the moisture
Cerave is more that just a moisturizer, it’s a moisture sealer. With other moisturizers, you rub them in and it’s the cream that moisten your skin. With Cerave, the cream locks in your skins natural moisture. Used after a shower it’ll lock in that moisture for the entire day.I’ve noticed something else, too. Where I live we have a problem with green headed flies and mosquitos. Cerave not only keeps you skin’s moisture in, it prevents your skin’s sent from escaping. While the flies and mosquitos home in on your breath, as they get close it’s the smell of your skin that gets them homing in on you. Block the scent and you mess them up, hopefully making miss a meal.

Top of the line moisturizer
This was recommended to me by my dermatologist and it’s the best advice I ever took! I’ve been using it for quite a while and I’m very happy with the results. One jar last a long time and it’s so much better than any other body moisturizers I’ve used and I’ve tried plenty being over 70 years of age 😊👍.

For dry skin this works well and is thick and lasts long.
I have dry skin and was looking for an alternative to Ponds for my face. I like the feel of this lotion. The thickness is great and it’s not oily. However, after a while I feel like I need a little more moisture, so I have been swapping back and forth between the two and it’s working well for me.

Main moisturizer
I ended up buying this after using my sister’s and seeing it used by people on social media for dry skin. I have very flaky and dry skin and this really helps my face feel moisturized and ever since using this, along with other products like skin care prep and just being on that skin care game, my face is no longer flaky and super dry. I really recommend this and the jar is VERY big and I don’t need a lot of product so I know it’s gonna last a while. I also do have sensitive skin so this product gets a pass from meCon:It doesn’t come sealed and I know some brands on Amazon comes sealed and some don’t have a safety seal and this product is one of them. It was also a hot day so it was definitely rolling around in heat during shipping, so when I opened it the product was everywhere on the lid underneath and around the jar. Had to clean it up. That’s only about it but I’m not picky or super stingy about stuff like that so it doesn’t change anything but the product itself is good.

Great Cream
Great cream, moisturizing and non-irritating. Shipping carrier needs to secure the container (it was loose inside the box). When I opened the box, the container was broken and cream was all over the inside of the box. I ordered a replacement and receive the product in the same condition.

FYI tub doesn’t come sealed
This is a skincare holy grail for many reasons, but the only downside is that it literally has no protective cover whatsoever… just the loosely screwed on lid. i’m using it anyway because it’s a hassle to try to return/refund it on amazon and it’s more expensive in-store but purchase at your own risk if this is something that renders the product unusable for you

Not a light moisturizer
Read a lot of reviews of this being a “light” moisturizer, and was the reason for me buying it. It is not a light moisturizer by any means. I dampen my face first before applying, so it will not pull my skin so much. Was so very disappointed. BUT on the plus side…it works really well. I had been having some issues and my dermatologist told me about CeraVe. Did a lot of research on the brand and came up with this one, as I thought it was a light moisturizer. It is solving my problems, so that is a big plus. The jar will last me for the next 20 yrs, as you do not need much of it. I only use it on my face. At least so far.
