Rubs in easily and works well
Love this product! Unlike many mineral sunscreens, this rubs in easily and does not leave you looking pasty white. I use it daily per my dermatologist’s recommendation. And you can even use your FSA to buy it.

If you have a naturally oily face you may have stickiness and extra oil when putting the sunscreen on your face. It still is good and I like that it has a tint to it

I Don’t Wear Make-Up Anymore
I’m extremely happy CeraVe offers this product. I was looking into all these “Lightweight” and “Barely-There” make-up options, but the prices were really high and the reviews very low.This stuff is perfect and I’m excited to have it for summer. It covers any redness I may have, while also protecting me from the sun and hydrating my skin!

Very lightweight feeling, very sensory friendly, but can make you look pale or ashen
I have a lot of sensory issues with textures on my skin, so my normal experience of sunscreen (or makeup) on my face is a constant, overwhelming sensation that I have something unpleasant on my face. I also have rosacea, and any sunscreen where part of the mechanism of action is the sunblock absorbing light will make my face heat up and trigger flushing. This sunscreen was much more tolerable than any other kind I’d tried. I was not constantly aware of it on my face, and it didn’t trigger a rosacea flare either. My face stayed at a comfortable temperature.The one downside to this sunscreen, which is common to all non-tinted mineral sunscreens since they stay on top of the skin even when rubbed in, is that it made my face look several shades paler. I am white so the effect wasn’t too bad, but if I’d had dark skin, I think it would have made my complexion look a sickly ashen or gray.

Great for quick, everyday wear
My work schedule isn’t a typical 9-5 so my morning routine can be hectic. This is great for a quick application of basic makeup before you run out the door. If you want a lot of coverage, this isn’t for you but if you want a little coverage, a little moisture and some spf in one step, this is perfect.

Light weight and good coverage
This tinted sunscreen goes on smoothly and has great coverage. At first I was afraid it wouldn’t cover much of my scarring but I was wrong. I used a makeup sponge to apply and I’m very happy with the results. I am fair skinned but tan during the summer months. I don’t believe this will match my skin tone during the cooler months when I don’t get as much sun. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for something lighter during the summer.

Too pricey
The only thing I didn’t like about this product was the price. Most people would use this product on a daily basis so maybe you get a couple weeks out of it? I alternate it and actually prefer the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen where I get 3 ounces instead of 1.7 ounces for a few dollars less than what I pay for CeraVe.With that said CeraVe has more Titanium dioxide (5.5%) and zinc oxide(10%) than most products. If you have oily skin you will probably not like this product. I have dry skin and love how this gives me a glow and works well under foundation. I also love the light tint it has to it. I just wish it came in SPF 50 instead of 30. If money isn’t an issue and you can purchase every couple weeks, you will love this product.

Tinted Sunscreen
I really like this product. With my aging skin it is hard to find a product that does not look cakey so I thought I would give tinted sunscreen a try. It gives my skin a slowly look and gives a small amount of coverage.

Wonderful for my skin!
I used the other CeraVe sunscreen that is white. It did NOT work for my skin. It was horrible but this one!! It works wonderful. Makes my skin look and feel great and it is so much better than the other stuff. I have dry skin and it is great. I use the CeraVe moisturizer and then this on top and it is perfect.

Perfect!
It is so nice to wear a sunscreen that does not irritate my eyes. Also, the tint is really great. During the day I’m able to just moisturize and then apply this tinted sunscreen and I’m ready. It also leaves a nice glow on your skin, it feels hydrated. Definitely will keep buying this brand.

Good product, won’t buy again because of packaging
This product is really nice. The tint is noticeable enough to wear every day without feeling too heavy, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and it helps add another layer of moisture on top of my daily routines. However, I won’t purchase it again because I personally don’t like the design of the cap. The bottle cap is a snap closure, but the lid of the cap fits into the dispenser (spout?) part of the cap. So I’ll squeeze a small amount that I need onto my finger, but since the dispensing spout would still have product in it, I’ll replace the lid and snap it closed, but the lingering product in the spout part will spill over and make a mess of the inside of the lid. Ultimately, I find this wastes product and makes the tube look very messy, which I don’t love when using a face product. If this isn’t a concern to you, it’s great for the price, and I love almost everything else CeraVe makes!EDIT: I attached photos of the cap before squeezing out product, and then after closing the cap after using, to show the cause of the mess I experience

I have sensitive skin & just recently came across this sunscreen and I love it ! Gives you just enough tint to even out skin tone without a white cast. It’s not heavy on the skin and it doesn’t feel greasy! Best tinted moisturizer I’ve found for my sensitive skin !

The good and the bad.
Overall it’s a keeper for me.Skin type: 40’s female with Casper white skin that is either pink white mouse or lobster red, no in between.Pros: works great with my dry skin because it’s goes on buttery smooth. It’s east to apply. You only need a small amount, unless you want to layer for a darker tone. Stays on all day. I did NOT burn in the sun!Cons: has a bit of a smell but I cut it with my setting spray. The tint is darker than my skin tone(take note if you are very lightskinned like me and only use 1 application). It stains your hands so taking it on the go is a no-go unless you carry baby wipes. IF you layer the tone gets A LOT darker quickly – be aware of that. Conclusion: I’ll be buying thus again when I run out.

If you’re on the cusp wondering about if it’ll be too dark for you, save yourself the headache. I’ll be saving it to use later in the summer when I have a stronger tan.(For reference I use 14n in supergoop)

My favorite tinted sunscreen
I love this tinted sunscreen. I have a few acne scars but since I have light pinkish skin I’m able to wear the sunscreen on its own. The tint blurs any imperfections, not totally but enough to feel confident without foundation. Only complaint….wish it were a larger size!

My go to summer makeup
This stuff is so nice!I tend to have a dry face and worry about finding a nice moisturizer that won’t look cakey. This product not only moisturizes it gives a nice overall tint and smoothed skin look.I have sensitive skin, the first day or two I had a small pimple around my nose with this product but that went away quickly and have had no skin issues otherwise.The texture is smooth and not oily. Good for everyday use, I only use this for makeup and I feel it gives a great natural look and feel.

Only sunscreen I’ll put on my face
The sunscreen’s texture is lightweight and silky, blending well into my face without feeling greasy or heavy. I appreciated the sheer tint, which provided a natural finish and evened out my skin tone without leaving a white cast, a common issue with mineral sunscreens. First time using tinted sunscreen
I was expecting it to come out white and then fade/color match- but when you squeeze it out it comes out skin color. Has a lot of coverage, it is super pigmented but not 100% true to color. I am eager to keep trying it out and see if less is more when it comes to products like these!

I would recommend- if you are elderly with some flaws and sunspots already- NOT to use this product. . It made my spots enhanced for days.I’m sure it’s a good product for much younger skin. with NO flaws. I like the ingredients and higher protection it gives.
