Great face wash at night! Definitely can feel the difference with dirt and oil being washed off. I am docking off one star because thereās no suds. Iām not sure if itās supposed to be like that but it still works great!

Smooth skin after washing
This face wash was so refreshing. I donāt feel like I have to rush to put on moisturizer after washing my face now. I also donāt feel all oily..or like my forehead is going to freak out, either from being dry or from āoils ā. Iāve tried so many expensive face washes up to $90, but this is better than those. Iām grateful I got it.
Just my opinion –
Great hydrating cleanser.
This product is in a large container with a pump that works. The soap is clear to slightly cream colored and washes your face without much suds but takes off your old sunscreen and moisturizer and other products without stripping your skin to be dry. My skin is combination so I use this product and the Cerave face wash with salicylic acid for oily skin also. I like to have the choice of either cleanser depending on how my skin is doing. The cream of this product is a medium weight and goes on your face easily. The money is worth the quality of this product.

Very Hydrating But Oily
This is the best hydrating cleanser I have found for the price! It doesn’t contain any fragrance and doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight. I enjoy that it has hyaluronic acid plus it is approved by the national eczema association which is a hug bonus for my dry/sensitive skin. I use this cleanser in the morning for extra hydration, then I switch to another cleanser at night (CeraVe Acne Control) since I have acne prone skin, and although using it hasn’t given me any acne It also hasnāt removed the previous inflammation Iāve had. Basically, it keeps it at bay for the moment. With other cleansers, my skin gets dry, flaky, AND irritated. They also make me break out more frequently. However, with this product, my skin doesnāt feel dry, and I don’t have problems with flakiness. It feels very hydrating with no irritation. I would recommend; however, it does tend to leave the skin oily which can be quite annoying, so apply sparingly as a little goes a long way.

Feels nice but still debating it
I got this made on multiple articles I’ve read about this facial cleanser. It do feel like it does do a good job cleaning my face and I like the slight tingle sensation on my face too. There doesn’t seem to be too distinct a scent which I appreciate. My issue is that the liquid is a cream like texture so that throws me off a little. It also doesn’t foam like some of the other facial cleansers I’ve used. However, my skin does feel clean so I am going to keep trying this and will see how it turns out overall.

Gentle for your face
I have switched back and forth between other face washes. I am very fickle. I have stayed with CeraVe for a few years now. I overly satisfied how it cleans my face, removes make-up gently without stinging my eyes or drying out my skin. I was using another brand because I fell into the “famous person sales trap” and that product compared itself to CeraVe for less cost but it was not nearly the same. The “famous” brand stripped my skin making it feel tight and dry. It even hurt my eyes. I love how CeraVe makes is soft, smooth, gentle on my skin and full of nutrients that help me fight aging š I recommend you put down the face wash you are using and give CeraVe a try. Not great for oily skin
This is a pleasant face wash that gets the job done. My skin does not feel dry after using this product which is a plus, however it does have a semi oily texture that isnāt the best for oily skin types.

Gentle and thorough facial cleanser
This was recommended by our dermatologist and we have been using it for a couple of years. It is gentle and does a nice job leaving your skin clean. Safe to use on your eyelids alsoā¦never a stinging eye or a tear!Kind of pricey, but you donāt need much for your faceā¦about the size of a pea. So it really does last a long time.BTW, I go to the dollar store periodically and buy dozens of terry cloth washcloths and stack them, washed and dried, at our sink so that we are always using a clean washcloth. Seriously, Iām no germaphobe, but who wants to wash their face with a dirty washcloth?! I never understood using washcloths over again anyway. We use nylon āpuffsā for bathing and I throw them in the wash with the towels. Just sayinā.

Not what I expected at first…
I originally bought this to use to remove my makeup thinking it would be emollient enough to break it down. The mascara I use is the fiber/tubing kind that is removed with just water, but I thought this would create some “slip” so that I wouldn’t be tugging on my eye area too much (that’s a no no at my age). It doesn’t provide as much slip as I was hoping, but it is better than nothing. I think Cetaphil has more slip. After my mascara is removed from my lashes, I lightly tissue it off. I used to then wet my face and massage 2 pumps onto the rest of my skin. Doing this, I noticed that it was not removing my makeup if I rinsed it off and it felt like it mixed with the makeup and created a film. I would tissue this off, then do a second cleanse with a foaming wash like the Cerave foaming cleanser or Dove bar to get the residue off. What i have learned is to massage this on DRY skin. This seems to make it more effective in removing makeup. I am then able to rinse it off. I still do a second cleanse, but I would do this anyway because I also use my Clarsonic during this stage. On days that i don’t wear makeup, I will use just this to wash my face (I wet it with water first because I am not removing long wear makeup) and not do a second wash. I do feel that it keeps my face soft after using it. I wish it was more smooth when massaging it onto the skin, but I can feel that it is adding a layer of moisture/barrier on my skin. I have oily skin, but I could definitely see this helping keep drier skin more moisturized.
