Works like magic
This stuff works surprisingly well!I tested it out by putting some on my dry hair on my ends and up toward my crown, focusing on areas with fly-aways. Then I followed it with straightening my hair with a flat iron.It made my hair significantly less frizzy and sleek looking.Once straightened the product seems to hold my hair in place—like giving it a new set-point. Instead of looking like wavy hair that’s been straightened my hair just looked like it’s naturally straight. I really love that.It took little effort with my straightener and less passes to straighten it.It’s now part of my regular routine and will likely stay that way unless they stop making it.My hair is down to my waist, thick but fine, and naturally wavy. My scalp can get oily easily with products, but I didn’t notice any difference in oiliness while using this.The smell is not very noticeable. It’s like a non-offensive, clean smell. It doesn’t compete with my perfume.The consistency is like a watery gel. It almost feels like hair gel when you put it on because you can feel it dry to the hair quickly. But it doesn’t make it feel stif, crunchy, sticky, oily or anything. It feels kinda perfect, like magic.It’s a cool product, I love it and recommend it!

Just buy it!
I’ve put off buying Olaplex products for years bc they’re so pricey. Recently got my hair highlighted & it felt super dry, so I splurged on myself for once & bought this. I could tell a difference after just using this product ONCE. Will definitely be buying from now on.

Love this product. I use this in place of conditioner and apply after my shower. It is great for crunching. Use less for a softer look or more fore that kind of wet look. It helps condition my hair and helps with straightening. Overall great product, no complaints.

This product has a false bottom
I liked how this product smoothed my dry , dry curly gray hair. But, I noted the bottom white plastic piece fell out while I was using the product and there was a false bottom to the product. The product looks as if it is a full bottle, BUT IT IS NOT! Look at the bottom for yourselves. Check the bottom round plastic piece comes right off and there is a large empty space then another bottom higher up inside the container–a false bottom!!!!

I’ve been using this for many months now and I’m happy with it. I have fairly long, curly hair and I use one pump of this on dripping wet hair, before styling products. You don’t really notice that it is there, because it doesn’t leave a sticky or oily residue of any sort. The smell is meh–vaguely reminiscent of chemicals but not toxic or bad. But the smell goes away after about one minute so it’s all good. It’s hard to tell for sure whether this particular product is having a good effect on its own or whether other things I’m doing are helping, but definitely my hair has been getting stronger, less prone to split ends, and less prone to breakage. That’s really great, because my hair had been getting weaker, thinner, and very prone to split ends before this. So overall I’m quite happy with this and will continue to use it.

This stuff is a miracle! My frizz problems are gone. Be careful, though, to only use a tiny, tiny bit or your hair will look oily. You’re supposed to use it on wet hair. But I also apply it to my ends when my hair is dry if I see a bit of frizz appear.

I purchased the Opalex No.9 after a friend told me that she saw a TikToker review 3 different heat protectors. Opalex was the only brand that didn’t combust. I used it and after flat ironing my hair I didn’t smell that I typically had. I’ve been using it ever since. No more split ends. This product is superior. Get it!!

Helps prevent frizz, only use a small amount
I have very curly hair that tends to be frizzy, and this nourishing hair serum has helped tame it a bit. I applied this to wet hair after showering and before adding in my regular hair products. I only used a very small amount because too much and your hair will be a greasy mess. I applied this throughout my hair and it dried soft and with less frizz. I am not sure how much hydration this added in, but it definitely didn’t dry their hair out at all. It is a bit on the pricier side, but it seems to work well, but there are similar products at lower price points that also work well. Overall, this is good for letting your hair air dry or for heat styling.

Makes your hair feel stronger
If your hair is a little damaged, this is a good product to use. It will help mend split ends due to over processing. I just use a small amount after I am done shampooing and conditioning my hair. You work it in to your hair especially getting it into the ends. It made it feel stronger and softer. I have curly hair so it reduced the frizz as well. Good product but overpriced!

Girl You Need This!
This is honestly my find of the decade! Seriously, I have the frizziest, most wayward hair, but after using this with a blow dry, my hair turns into the most silky, tamed mane. My sister who lives in the UK recommended it to me, I was hesitant to buy as I had used some other Olaplex products which were just meh, but this truly is the jewel in the crown of all of Olaplex. Buy it you will not regret it!

I learned about Olaplex 9 on the Today Show, Hoda said it was the best hair product. She was right. Leaves hair feeling clean and thick with body and shine. It’s the kind of stuff that makes you want to keep touching your hair. The only issue is the price but a little goes a long way.

The Real Deal!!
I have been using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for about 5 months now. I was looking for something to help with my dry ends and frizz while growing out my natural hair color (dark brown with small strands of white, with a naturally white stripe in the front). I read the reviews. I really love the results from the shampoo and conditioner, so I decided to try this. Washed and conditioned my hair last night, then applied Olaplex No. 9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum. I noticed the results almost immediately. My hair usually goes frizzy whether I let it dry naturally or if I blow dry it. My hair was much smoother and less frizzy and is holding my style so much better! I didn’t have to use very much hairspray at all! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I realize that the price is steep, and that some people said that they had to use more product than the directions say. The price is steep, but if you can afford it, it is incredible. As for the amount to use, as with any hair product, the amount to be used depends on length and thickness of your hair. That is only logical. This product truly made a substantial and noticeable difference in my hair, it’s softer, shinier, smoother, less frizzy (almost completely frizz-free) and my dry ends look sooo much better!

Lots of uses
I use it to blow dry my hair straight or to air dry my hair curly. Leaves it very soft and manageable. I wouldn’t dream of blow drying without it for heat protection purposes.

Incredible.
This stuff is amazing. A little dab goes a long way so I can see this lasting for a while. My hair feels soft and light and I loooove the added heat protectant!! I do feel like I’m putting salon quality product on my hair. It does everything it claims to do!! My hair is naturally more course so anything that enhances the softness of my hair without making it feel oily or gross is a WIN. I will be buying more!!
