I have extremely long and thick hair down to the top of my butt. I use no heat products but this has helped my hair look amazing and healthy. No split ends and have been getting compliments on how healthy my hair looks left and right since using this. Expensive but worth it in my book!

My curly hair holy grail
When I wear my hair curly I use this product similar to mousse. Surprisingly it actually gives good hold. I hate the feel of sticky, crunchy, product heavy hair which for years left me doing nothing to my naturally frizzy, curly hair. I use this product like mousse scrunched in to create a cast on my hair. Once dry I scrunch it again to break the cast for frizz free, soft, product free feeling curls. It’s truly been my saving grace when it comes to dealing with my curly hair that I hated for so long. When I don’t plan to wear my hair curly I just apply a small amount from mid to ends and it leaves no hard cast to my hair then. Basically you can make it do what you want based on how and how much you use it. Love this serum as more than just a serum

This stuff is a miracle! My frizz problems are gone. Be careful, though, to only use a tiny, tiny bit or your hair will look oily. You’re supposed to use it on wet hair. But I also apply it to my ends when my hair is dry if I see a bit of frizz appear.

My hair stylist recommended Olaplex products for me over a year ago and I have used nothing else since. My hair has never been in better shape. This particular product is very easy to use. I can get just the right amount with a pumpor two. I scrunch it throughout my towel dried hair and it helps keep my curls smooth and soft. I highly recommend!

Amazing heat protector
If you’re thinking this is on the expensive side and might not be worth it, think again. You only need half a pump for short straight hair, and a full pump might be enough for all other types of hair (short).Pump it on your hand, rub your palms to get it to foam in your hands, then apply to your hair (starting from the ends).Product will last for a while and it really does protect your hair.Especially if you’re doing fantasy colors. Can’t emphasize enough how much of a difference this is making for me.

I’ve been using this for many months now and I’m happy with it. I have fairly long, curly hair and I use one pump of this on dripping wet hair, before styling products. You don’t really notice that it is there, because it doesn’t leave a sticky or oily residue of any sort. The smell is meh–vaguely reminiscent of chemicals but not toxic or bad. But the smell goes away after about one minute so it’s all good. It’s hard to tell for sure whether this particular product is having a good effect on its own or whether other things I’m doing are helping, but definitely my hair has been getting stronger, less prone to split ends, and less prone to breakage. That’s really great, because my hair had been getting weaker, thinner, and very prone to split ends before this. So overall I’m quite happy with this and will continue to use it.

Makes your hair feel stronger
If your hair is a little damaged, this is a good product to use. It will help mend split ends due to over processing. I just use a small amount after I am done shampooing and conditioning my hair. You work it in to your hair especially getting it into the ends. It made it feel stronger and softer. I have curly hair so it reduced the frizz as well. Good product but overpriced!

Only issue I have with this is that it’s really expensive. BUT! My hair has never been healthier and it grew a few inches. I also oil my hair and scalp 2-4 times a week so the growth could be contributed to that. I don’t have to worry about split ends anymore, my hair is fuller, and left feeling soft when I brush my hair afterwards. It’s not greasy, it has no smell, and I just feel happier with my hair overall. Definitely worth the price I just wish I could buy it cheaper lol

Maybe least important in line of important Olaplex products
I buy this everytime I run out; BUT, when I’m putting all the Olaplex products in my hair, this is the one that I’m the least sure about. I can feel each other product working immediately to soften my hair, but this one goes on more like a serum than a moisturizer, and it doesn’t feel like it’s making a satisfying improvement. So if you’re choosing between the different after-shower products because you can’t afford them all, I would go for the Olaplex 6 (very moisturizing) and the little Olaplex finishing oil bottle for dried hair over this one.
