    Even though the quality of the protein itself and Nutricost products in general is excellent, the chocolate flavor is overly sweet for my taste. I even mix it up with other whey protein powder vanilla or unflavored and it still feels overpowering sweet. Best used with milk and chia seeds overnight to make a protein pudding. I’ll still finish the tube but won’t buy again.I have tried the chocolate peanut butter flavor prior to this and it was great. I will probably want to try the strawberry next as it seems a favorite among reviewers.I think Nutricost should tone down on whatever they use as sweetener on the chocolate flavor.

Well, let me put your mind at rest by saying that Nutricost Whey Protein Concentrate is your optimum replacement.Nutricost Whey Protein Concentrate packs 25 grams of protein, with only 3 grams of fat, and 3 grams of carbohydrates. It has a slightly higher fat content, but an additional 1.5 grams per serving is hardly something to worry about.It also boasts 6 simple ingredients, which was a must for me. There wasn’t a long list of chemicals and additives, and it contained no soy; which was something I had been looking to get away from.Nutricost Whey Protein Concentrate is also gluten-free, a non-GMO product, third party tested, and GMP compliant. Meaning, that it’s not some “fly by night” brand that’s just trying to make money off of you.I know you’re thinking, “That’s great, but how does it taste?”Let me tell you, it tastes great! I usually add mine to my oatmeal in the morning, but I’ve tried it with milk and water.     Works so so well and it less than a dollar per serving. I add a little cocoa powder to it to make it more chocolaty but it’s really good on its own too. So happy I invested in this giant bin of protein powder

    Decent enough product for the money. Kind of a weak vanilla flavor, which is the only real gripe. My favorite part of it is the easy dissolution in water or milk. Far superior than other powders I’ve tried. But I might think twice about it if I order again, simply because the vanilla flavor is so weak.

    I just started using this about 3 weeks ago. I switched from Muscle Milk because of the price. So far it’s just okay. Seems to be very gloppy. It clumps in my shaker bottle and doesn’t seem to blend in with the almond milk. I’m on a completely liquid diet due to previous laryngeal cancer removal surgery, so details like this are very important to me. Also making me feel a little bloated. I’m thinking it’s because the proteins are not Whey Isolate. I’ll continue to use it and see if my body adjusts. I’d been using strictly Muscle Milk for about 6 years. I’m hoping this brand works because I am pleased with the company’s other products.

    Depends what you blend it with example juice, smoothie it will take some flavor of it away but a lot, the unflavor has flavor but it doesn’t also, but put it in a strong milkshake it won’t, I put mines with peanut butter, abuelita chocolate and it taste so good

    I am a 60 year old man that started going to the gym 3x per week one year ago, rehabbing from a torn achilles tendon injury. I know adding more protein to your diet is a good way to lose some weight and add a bit of muscle mass, yes even 60 year old’s can gain muscle mass. I couldn’t stomach the thought of spending $20 per lb for a lot of the protein powders available. This one seemed to get good reviews and hit the sweet spot of cost per lb for me. I have been using this powder for 5 months now 3x per week immediately after each workout and overall I am pleased with the product. I always get vanilla flavor as it tastes good alone or is easy to mix with fruit if I have some on hand. I always mix my powder with a 2 part milk and 1 part water (6 oz milk, 3 oz water, 1 scoop protein) and I blend with an electric whip blender attachment and that works excellent so I can’t comment on stirring or shaking this powder for mixing. It is a bit sweeter than I would prefer but an acceptable sweetness level, to me, it is a bit artificial sweetener taste. According to our Omron body composition scale my body fat, especially the visceral fat (the fat around your stomach) has dropped 3 percent and my muscle mass has increased 2 percent. So the powder works and considering its price is a very good value.

    This is a solid protein powder that dissolves easily in a glass by stirring it. In other words, you don’t need a shaker bottle to use with it. I purchased this to add to homemade snacks and treats. It didn’t significantly change the flavor of those much. And when mixing it, I just put it in my glass of milk and stirred, and it dissolved quite easily.However, it does change the flavor of the milk slightly, but not terribly. It just tastes different. Anyway, 4 stars because of a slight nondescript flavor. Other than that, it’s a big container of protein that had does what it’s supposed to do.I’ll buy this again.
